History

The design of the theatre building included its 'connection' to the coast. This was achieved through the incorporation of the adjoining park into the complex of buildings along with the diverted motorway which was an obstacle between the theatre and the sea. The cladding of the theatre is made up of mat, milk and pure, transparent glass which provides not only shade, but also a view through to the sea and the countryside.
