History

“The Auditorium Theatre” is part of “The Auditorium Building”, and came about in order to be the most expensive, most beautiful and grandest theatre in the world. The structure achieved its goals, being the largest in the United States at the time. A new method of creating the foundations of the building was developed due to the unstable clayey base of the structure.
