The largest stage in Norway at the moment is an example of the ingenious linking of the functional and aesthetic perspective of a theatre building. The structure of the Norway Opera and Ballet is situated on the sea coast. It includes the main theatre stage with variable numbers of seats (depending on the actual size of the orchestra pit) - maximum number 1369, a second stage with a capacity for 400 seats and a practice stage with 200 seats.
