History

The House of Culture in Helsinki consists of three parts: offices, a lecture hall and a concert hall. The last of which is renowned for its unique acoustics. The area of the stage is approximately 200 m?, with 1,500 seats. The modern facade of the structure is made of arch bricks allowing for brickwork to even the irregular shape of the walls, as is the case with the House of Culture of Alvar Aalta.
