The construction was assigned to local builder Josef Janda, who designed it as well. The foundation stone was laid on 31st May of 1925 and the ceremonial opening took place on 25th October of the same year.

Reconstruction was carried out in 2006 – 2008 and concerned mainly exterior and partially interior and technical equipment.
