There is very little information about the Lambach abbey theatre. Even in the most comprehensive book about the abbey history (see below) there is no information about the theatre. It is usually dated into second half of 18th century (1769), but in its present appearance and equipment it is probably much later. In the theatre there is also a collection of painted scenery and a simple stage machinery.
