Giacomo Zammattio

In the seventies of the 19th century the Trieste architect Giacomo Zammattio was a disciple of Heinrich von Ferstl at Fachhochschule Technikum in Vienna. In the eighties he was cooperating on building the Rijeka Theatre, for which the plans were created by famous Vienna architectural studio Fellner & Helmer. Zammattio prepared implementation plans for the Tartini Theatre on basis of conceptual plans created by Gioaccino Grassi. Under his leadership, along with the Tartini Theatre, the theatre in Pazin was also built. The construction of the latter was finished in 1912.
