Matsumoto Performing Arts Center is located in a densely populated area. Apart from theatre and music performances, exhibitions take place here as well. The biggest attraction is the complex itself. The exteriors are particularly attractive as well as the spaces on the border of the exterior and interior of the building. Numerous small holes in the cladding allow sunlight into the building serving to light up the typical red carpet of the theatre.
