TTLA / TELA Database

The Theatres of Latin America database is a long-term project and is one of the main outputs of the TTLA-TELA project. Its objective is to become a live virtual museum of Latin America theatrical and performance spaces accesible to all online. The number of theatres and performance spaces will keep increasing as more results of the investigation carried out by the national teams taking part in the project are put online. The database is organized by countries and the search can be either by countries, where a list of the theatres included in each country is displayed or by the name of the theatre.

The aim of the project is to promote the still existing historic theatres in Europe by way of a new cultural tourism route, a free online database, and a travelling exhibition, also fostering cross-border cooperation among these theatres.
