Vörös Szalon az Operaház első emeletén lévő exkluzív kiképzésű szalon. Ezt a múltban társalgónak használták első sorban. Az újabb időkben kiállítótérként is funkcionál, az Operaház egykori művészeit, eseményeit bemutató időszaki kiállításokban. A szalon alapszínei megegyeznek a nézőtérével, vagyis az arany és a meggyvörös dominál. Falait Than Mór által készített freskók borítják: A Hajnal és Éj, A három grácia, Ámor és Psyché, és Paris ítélete címűek.
