The Sokol Theatre was located in a corner building on the square. The house was erected in 1546. It was reconstructed many times.

The municipal cinema was converted into a theatre in 1945. The reconstruction was carried out by volunteers from Sokol according to the design by Josef Marek from Brno.

The municipal reprezentatives sold the building to TELECOM company and the theatre was closed up.
