On the urban level the new theatre building completes the unfinished contour of this important city building block. The intervention also cleans its interior and divides it into two new public spaces, linked to the near-by streets with a large flow of pedestrians. Together with Kongresni Square, these two new squares connect the city public space with the outdoor theatre on the roof of the building by the interior spiral path, which slowly rises to the level of the city roofs. The outdoor theatre is in direct visual contact with the sights of the city centre. The public programme is in the ground floor and positioned according to the hierarchy of entrances. It communicates with the exterior along the entire length, like most of the spaces of the new theatre.
